Notification Steps are a simple yet powerful way to stay updated on your projects/workflows. For example, you can set them up to send an email for any new form submissions. Whether you want to receive a full summary of each submission or send tailored notifications to specific team members based on how the form is filled out, you have flexible options to suit your workflow.
To get started, add the notification step to your project builder under the “Workflow” section or by searching for "Notification".
(Optional) After adding the step, name it. For this example, we're calling it the Email Notification step.

To make adjustments to your step, click on the step itself or the three dots to choose the “edit step” option.
Afterwards, you'll be taken to the edit section where you can set up your email notification.
Setting up an Email Notification
In the Delivery section, you'll need to set up who the email is being sent to as well as the subject and message that tells the recipient more about the information they are receiving. Drag and drop fields from previous steps if needed from the Data Mapping section on the left.
for example, lets say we'd like to send this Email notification to the person who filled out a form in the previous step, we can include the Email field from that step to dynamically determine who the notification is sent to.
Note: if you add multiple email addresses, the step sends one email addressed to all of the recipients, not a separate email to each recipient. The same applies to the CC and BCC options.
Attachments
Underneath the Delivery section. you can select if you'd like to include a document or file from a previous step.
Please note that you can only include documents or files from a Form, Document or Sign step. Multiple attachments can be added as needed.
Once you're finished with setting up your email notification, you can click the x on the top right to save your changes.
Note: the attachments feature is only available when setting up an Email notification.
