By default, generated documents and their associated metadata are stored in a shared repository after workflow completion. This allows you to access, reuse, or review files at a later time.
If your organization requires that generated assets not be stored for compliance, privacy, or security reasons, you can disable this setting. Disabling this option ensures that all files and metadata are deleted automatically once a workflow completes.
Steps to Disable Repository Storage
Navigate to Security Settings
In your application’s left navigation menu, go to ⚙️ Settings → Security.
Locate the Data Retention Section
Scroll down to the Data retention area.
You’ll see an option labeled “Keep data after workflow completion.”
Disable Data Retention
Toggle the switch off to stop storing files and metadata after workflow completion.
Once disabled, any files or outputs generated during a workflow will not be saved to the shared repository.
What Happens When This Setting Is Disabled
Generated files and metadata are not stored in the repository after a workflow completes.
You will no longer be able to retrieve these files later.
This setting applies to all users and workflows within the connected account or workspace.
All previously collected documents and their metadata will be permanently deleted.
