Notification Steps are a simple yet powerful way to stay updated on your projects/workflows. For example, you can set them up to send an email for any new form submissions. Whether you want to receive a full summary of each submission or send tailored notifications to specific team members based on how the form is filled out, you have flexible options to suit your workflow.
To get started, add the notification step to your project builder under the “Actions” section.
After adding the step, name it. For this example, we're calling it the Email Notification step.
To make adjustments to your step, click on the step itself or the three dots to choose the “edit step” option. Afterwards, you'll be taken to the edit section where you can choose the email for the notification, edit the subject and create a custom message. Drag and drop fields from previous steps if needed.
for example, lets say we'd like to send this email notification to the person who filled out a form in the previous step, we can include the email field from that step to dynamically determine who the notification is sent to.
Once you're finished with setting up your email notification, you can click the x on the top right to save your changes.
