Want to dynamically show or hide content in your documents based on data collected earlier in your workflow? The Conditional Logic feature in Intellistack Streamline lets you control which sections of a document appear depending on values provided in previous steps. This means you can create documents that adapt automatically to different scenarios—without duplicating templates or manually editing content.
Important note: the ability to add logic on a Document is only available for Documents that were created with the dynamic builder.
How it works
Step 1: Add text and open the Logic tab
In the Document step, select the text you want to make conditional. From the left-hand panel, switch to the Logic tab. Here you can add or see all existing logic rules configured in the document.
Step 2: Create a new condition
With the text selected, click the plus or add Condition sign to create a new rule.
Each rule has three parts:
- Field Selector – Choose a variable from previous workflow steps.
- Comparison Operator – Options include Equals, Does Not Equal, Is Empty, Is Not Empty, Greater Than, Less Than, Contains, and Does Not Contain.
- Value – Enter the value to compare against.
Step 3: Choose how logic is evaluated
You can choose whether All conditions must be true or if Any condition being true will trigger the logic. Also decide whether the text should Show or Hide when the condition evaluates to true.
Note: Multiple conditions can be added for the same selection of text.
