- Custom Roles — Custom Roles lets admins define named roles with exactly the permissions they need, either from scratch or by extending an existing system role as a starting point. Build roles like "Supervisor," "Integration Manager," or "Department Admin." Select permissions by domain - users, projects, workflows, datasets, brands, and more - with inline descriptions so the scope of each permission is clear before you save. Assign roles to users and groups from one central Roles & Permissions screen. Every user gets access that reflects their actual responsibilities, not just the closest available bundle.
- Redirect Users in Outbound Webhooks — Outbound Webhooks now let builders redirect users to a next destination. Send users straight into a new Intellistack Streamline session, route them to an external page to complete a payment, or hand them off to any corporate website to finish the journey. The handoff happens automatically, so processes keep moving without users having to find the next step on their own. Click here to learn more about starting a new session after an existing section.
- Support OAuth scopes in Outbound Webhook — Outbound Webhook connections can now include OAuth scopes, giving builders fine-grained control over what each integration is allowed to do. Tokens can be scoped to specific permissions, such as read or write access to sensitive resources. This opens the door to connecting Intellistack Streamline with tightly controlled enterprise systems that mandate granular API permissioning.
- Merge Logic — Builders can now mark where separate logical paths come back together on one shared step, so steps are configured once and apply to every path that reaches the merge point. The builder sets the rule for when the shared finish runs without duplicating steps or keeping parallel copies aligned by hand. Workflows stay smaller, easier to read, and accurate even as templates and field assignments change.
Defect Fixes
Data Management
- Fixed an issue where time fields appeared blank when a form was prefilled from search results.
- Increased clarity in Incoming Webhook error messages.
- Fixed an issue where data from nested repeating form sections was not being saved to linked child tables during form submission, resulting in incomplete records.
- Fixed an issue where incoming webhooks sent with form-encoded data were not processed correctly.
- Fixed an issue where creating a new Transform step would show a validation error by default before any configuration was added.
- Fixed an issue where file attachment configurations on linked entities in Search Data were not being applied at runtime, even though they were saved correctly in the builder.
- Fixed an issue where the 'Max Files' setting in the Search Data builder was saved but not applied when the search ran, causing it to be ignored.
- Fixed an issue where session metadata mappings (such as session ID, user ID, or project name) failed when used in Notification step fields like email subject or message, causing the workflow to fail with a data type mismatch.
- Fixed an issue where workflows using an empty filter value in a Search Data step were rejected with a 400 error after empty filter values were allowed.
- Fixed an issue where uploading multiple files in a single step to cloud storage destinations (such as SFTP, Google Drive, SharePoint, OneDrive, Dropbox, or Amazon S3) could trigger API rate limits, causing the step to fail or take much longer than expected to complete.
Document Generation
- Fixed an issue where the 'Add delivery' button could be clicked while changes were being automatically saved in Quick Send, which could cause problems.
- Fixed an issue where the Dynamic Document Builder experienced problems in Firefox and with the close icon during autosave.
- Fixed an issue where field labels in the Document Builder would not update when changed in a previous step, causing outdated labels to appear in the document.
- Fixed an issue where locale settings (such as language, date, and number formats) were not displaying correctly in repeating form sections when converting forms to signature documents.
- Fixed an issue where repeating-entity properties dragged into a {foreach} loop did not bind to the loop item variable, preventing per-iteration rendering in document templates.
Forms
- Fixed an issue where deleting a field in the form builder could accidentally delete the entire page instead.
- Fixed an issue where newly uploaded files incorrectly showed a download link; the download option now appears only for mapped files.
- Fixed an issue where date fields in dropdown mode shifted the selected date, causing inconsistency with date fields in calendar mode.
- Fixed an issue where the clear ('X') button on date fields obscured the date being typed at narrow column widths.
- Fixed an issue where date validation messages appeared prematurely while a user was still completing the day and year portions of a date field.
