Recently Released Features
- Workspace Task Management — Within the Workspace, group members can now preview shared tasks without claiming them, take ownership when ready, and keep claimed work visible so teammates know who is responsible. Reassignment, resend, and group assignment options are available for all assignment types, with bulk actions for resending and reassigning tasks. These controls and claim-based filters help teams keep work moving when priorities or availability change.
- Document Repository Retention Settings —Organizations can now define how long uploaded documents are retained in Streamline before automatic deletion. Admins configure the retention period once at the org level - no builder action required. This gives compliance and governance teams direct control over document data without relying on manual cleanup or accepting indefinite storage.
- Google Calendar Integration — Create a new event in Google Calendar right from your workflow. The Google Calendar integration builds the invite from details your workflow already collects - title, description, start and end time, location, and attendees - and puts it on any calendar your connected account can edit, including shared and team calendars. Scheduling becomes part of the process instead of a task someone remembers afterward.
- Microsoft Outlook Calendar Integration — Create a new event in Microsoft Outlook right from your workflow. The Microsoft Outlook integration builds the invite from details your workflow already collects - title, description, start and end time, location, and attendees - and puts it on any calendar your connected account can edit, including shared and team calendars. Scheduling becomes part of the process instead of a task someone remembers afterward.
- Sub-Tenant Management — Partners can now provision sub-tenant organizations in seconds through Streamline APIs, with each sub-tenant receiving its own workspace and usage allocations under the parent's aggregate pool. Cross-org access through the org switcher lets partner admins enter any sub-tenant directly using their existing credentials and inherited roles. One aggregate invoice to the parent consolidates all sub-tenant usage, eliminating per-account billing overhead regardless of fleet size.
-
Embedded Signature Tags in Document Templates — Signature tags let Streamline read signing instructions already inside a document - whether a builder places them or the document arrives pre-generated through a webhook or form - and turn them into signer fields automatically. Streamline uses supporting signatures, initials, date signed, calendar dates, names, checkboxes, radio buttons, and text. Each field routes to the signer configured on the sign step; configured signers with no matching tags are skipped rather than erroring. Tags are removed from the finished document automatically. Top capabilities:
- Recognize signer tags in documents brought in by webhook or form, not just documents authored in Streamline
- Map each tag's signer reference to the matching signer on the sign step; skip configured signers with no tags in the document
- Place signature, initial, date signed, calendar date, name, checkbox, radio, and text tags with required or optional fields (req / noreq)
- Use sign tags in Quick Send as well as workflow document steps
- Reuse documents that already use the legacy Formstack Sign tag format without recreating them
Defect Fixes
Administration
- Fixed an issue where retrieving organization toggle settings via the API would return a 'not found' error, even though the endpoint was publicly documented and expected to work.
Data Management
- Fixed an issue where outgoing webhooks could fail to correctly process repeating data collections when the collection or field names contained spaces.
- Fixed an issue where testing an outbound webhook with repeating data would automatically modify certain field values (such as quantities or currency amounts) in the preview rows, with no way for users to correct those altered values before sending the test.
- Fixed an issue where filtering search results by a yes/no field on a related record (such as 'Primary Quote = Yes') would cause the related items to disappear from results instead of being returned correctly.
- Fixed an issue where workflow usage and session count information appeared unavailable or empty on datasets that had active workflows and open issues.
- Fixed an issue where connecting to a Dataverse source could silently return an incomplete list of fields for a table, causing some columns to appear missing without any error being shown.
- Fixed an issue where completing a data source schema scan could fail to save successfully, leaving the integration in an incomplete or error state.
- Fixed an issue where retrieving a large number of data source integrations could cause performance degradation or service instability.
Document Generation
- Fixed an issue where certain PDF documents with encryption settings would fail to process when used as signing templates.
- Fixed an issue where workflow updates through the API could fail when a supported source step ID format was used.
- Fixed an issue where version history in collaborative documents may not have been tracked or displayed correctly.
- Fixed an issue where the 'Assigned to you' tab in Workspace would fail to load for users with collaboration assignments.
- Fixed an issue where starting a workflow session would fail if a document step had a signer assigned but no signature fields added for that signer.
- Fixed an issue where clicking 'New session' could cause the app to become unresponsive or crash.
- Fixed an issue where external email signers without a Formstack account were incorrectly blocked from completing document signing tasks and received an access denied error.
- Fixed an issue where submitting the signature step could sometimes take a long time to complete.
- Fixed an issue where a document signing step with multiple signers was incorrectly displayed as several separate signing steps instead of one combined step showing all signers together.
Forms
- Fixed an issue where logic applied within repeating sections sometimes was not working independently for each repeated section.
- Fixed an issue where the Submit button in the form builder appeared wider than its label when first loaded, snapping to the correct size only after the label was edited.

Upcoming Defect Fixes
Data Management
- Fixing an issue where fields from Salesforce data searches appeared twice when a child entity was set to repeatable.
Document Generation
- Fixing an issue where signers removed from a document's signing step were still being included when a workflow session was executed, causing unintended signers to participate in the signing process.
- Fixing an issue where generated documents could display the placeholder text 'Form Field' instead of the actual patient or user data they were intended to show.
Omni Ai
- Fixing an issue where users would incorrectly see Document AI warnings when creating workflows that do not use Document AI.
