Dropdown lists allow you to provide a list of items from which users can choose. For example, you can use:
- A predefined list (e.g., State, Age, Days of the Week)
- A custom list
Getting Started
To add a Dropdown List field to your form:
Click "Dropdown List" in the field options & drag and drop it where you want it to appear on your form.
Once added, you'll be able to:
Edit the label (question or prompt)
Add your dropdown options underneath

You can customize the dropdown field using the Field Settings panel to the left:
Hide Field Label
Make field required
Make field hidden
Tip: Consider using a Checkbox field if you'd like multiple-choice selection.
Making It Searchable
If your list is long, make it searchable to improve usability.
Where to find it:
Limitations:
Searchable dropdowns: Max 10,000 options
Non-searchable dropdowns: Max 1,000 options
Works only with Labels, not Values
Setting a Default Vaue
Create a default value option under the searchable field setting if needed.
Note: If left blank, the first option will be empty.
Inserting Blank or "Other" Options
Add a Blank Option:
Type a space on the first line
Note: If the field is required, a blank option won't count as valid.
Add an "Other" Option:
Type "Other" in one option line
Add a Short Text field
Set up Conditional Logic to show it only when "Other" is selecte
Tip: Use Hide Label in the Short Answer field settings for a cleaner look.
