Receive important updates about your projects and activity in Streamline via email or SMS—alongside the existing in-app notifications. This guide walks you through how to manage your preferences and ensure you’re receiving the notifications that matter most.
What Are Email and SMS Notifications?
Streamline offers multi-channel notifications to help you stay updated on your projects—even when you're not logged into the app. You’ll receive alerts for events such as:
- A workflow being completed
- Being added to a project
- Data source connections or changes
You can manage which of these notifications you receive through your Notification Preferences Panel.
Note: Some critical notifications—like password resets or security alerts—will always be sent and cannot be disabled.
How to Manage Notification Preferences
Step 1: Access the Notification Preferences Panel
- Log into your Streamline account.
- Click your Profile icon in the bottom-left corner.
- Click the Edit Profile button below your name
Step 2: Customize Your Preferences
From your profile, you can:
Enable or disable email notifications for non-critical events.
Opt in to SMS notifications by entering a valid phone number and checking the SMS opt-in box.
Opt out of SMS notifications at any time by replying "STOP" to any Streamline SMS message.
Resume SMS notifications by texting "START" to the sending number.
Note: Preferences are set per user. At this time, account-wide or group-level settings are not supported.
What Events can be selected to Trigger Notifications?
You’ll be notified via your selected channels when any of these system events occur:
Workflow Completed
User Added to Project
Data Source Connected
Data Source Removed
Data Source Change or Breakage
