The Document Repository gives Streamline CLM users a centralized space to access, manage, and track documents that are part of their collaboration and signature workflows. No more digging through inboxes or shared drives—this feature provides visibility, traceability, and control over critical agreements from within the Streamline platform.
Why It Matters
With the Document Repository, your team gains a single source of truth for agreements. Whether you're reviewing upcoming renewals, running a compliance audit, or gathering metadata for reporting, you can find everything in one place, complete with:
Searchable metadata
Audit history
Expiration tracking
Download and version access
Who Is It For?
This feature is built for teams that handle contracts or internal agreements, including:
Legal teams managing risk and approvals
Sales teams tracking deal execution
IT and Ops teams monitoring renewals and vendor contracts
💼 Example Use Case:
A legal team preparing for quarterly renewals can pull a list of contracts expiring in the next 30 days—complete with key fields like deal value and renewal terms—without leaving Streamline or checking shared folders.
Document Inclusion Criteria
The Document Repository includes documents that meet at least one of the following:
Generated via a Docs step, even without other steps
In active collaboration workflows (in progress)
Completed collaboration steps
Completed signature steps — marked as “Signed” or “Executed”, and locked from future edits to ensure document integrity
🔒 Signed documents are stored as read-only to preserve legal validity and support downstream compliance.
