Pages allow you to break long forms into smaller, more manageable sections. This improves readability and helps users complete forms step-by-step without feeling overwhelmed.
You can add, edit, and organize multiple pages directly within your Form Step in Streamline.
Adding a Page
After adding a Form Step to your workflow, you can add a new page in one of two ways:
- Click Add Page at the bottom right of the Form editor.
- From the left-hand navigation panel, click the + Page option.
Once a new page is added, customize it by adding fields such as headers, descriptions, or other form elements.
Rearranging Fields
To adjust where a field appears on the page:
- Hover over the field, then click and drag the six-dot handle to move the field up or down.
- Alternatively, use the up or down arrows to move the field one position at a time.
Tip: Breaking your form into logical sections makes it easier for users to complete and reduces the chance of missed fields.
Editing a Page
You can edit each page to control its visibility, behavior, or layout.
From the top right of your page, click the Edit button to reveal the following options:
- Hide: Hides the page from all form participants. This is useful if you no longer want a page to appear in the form but don’t want to delete it entirely. Hidden pages are also helpful for passing default values or background data between steps without showing that information to users. The page will remain hidden until you manually make it visible again.
- Read Only: Displays the page’s content without allowing users to edit or modify any of the fields. This option is helpful when you want to show summary information, read-only data, or prefilled content for review.
- Copy: Creates a duplicate of the page, including all its fields and layout. This helps speed up form building when you’re creating similar sections.
- Delete: Permanently removes the page and all fields it contains from your form.
Summary
That’s it for adding and managing pages in your Form Step. Using multiple pages helps organize longer forms into clear, focused sections, improving both user experience and completion rates.
