Header fields are layout elements used to organize your form and create clear visual breaks between sections & pages.
They help guide users through longer forms by labeling groups of related questions or providing short headings for context.
Adding a Header Field
- In the form editor, click Add Field.
- From the Layout category, select Header.
- The field will appear on your form, ready for customization.
Customizing Header Properties
After adding the Header field, you can adjust its appearance directly within the form builder.
You can:
- Edit the header text to label the section or describe its content.
- Choose the header size (H1, H2, or H3) to control text hierarchy and prominence.
- Align the text to the left or center, depending on your form’s layout or visual preference.
- Copy the header to reuse it elsewhere in the form.
- Delete it if no longer needed.
Tips for Using Header Fields
- Use headers to break long forms into sections and improve readability.
- Choose H1 for main titles, H2 for subsections, and H3 for smaller labels or supporting headings.
- Keep header text concise and consistent in tone across your form.
- Combine header fields with Sections or Page Breaks to create a clear, structured layout.
